Process

How a Remote NLS Wellness Session Works

The complete process from booking to follow-up, written as the operational steps that actually happen rather than as a description of a mechanism. Where a step involves something that is not established, this page says so instead of explaining it away.

Before the session

  1. You choose a service. Each option states what is covered, what inputs are required, the turnaround, and the cancellation terms. Nothing is quoted on enquiry.
  2. You give consent. You confirm you understand the service is a wellness service and not a medical assessment, and that results will not be returned as clinical findings.
  3. You supply the inputs. Basic details, the wellness areas you want covered, and whatever context about sleep, stress, diet and activity you choose to share. Where your variant requires a photograph or sample, instructions are sent at this point.
  4. You agree a window. A time when you can be settled and undisturbed. You do not need to be on a call unless your package includes a live review.

During the session

The practitioner runs the NLS software against the inputs for your session and records the output across the systems included in your package. In operational terms this is a software run followed by a structured review; it is not a procedure performed on you.

What happens inside the software is proprietary to the equipment developers. QMH describes the theory those developers publish on a separate page, and labels it as their account rather than as established fact.

After the session

  1. The practitioner reviews the output. Separating the small number of categories worth discussing from the majority that are unremarkable, and discarding anything that looks like noise.
  2. The report is written. Structured sections, plain-language explanations of each score, a written summary, and the standing scope statement.
  3. The report is delivered. To the address you nominated, normally within a few working days. If it will take longer, you are told before the session runs.
  4. You can ask questions. A follow-up route is included. Where a package bundles review sessions, the number and length are stated at purchase.

Changing your mind

You can withdraw at any point before the session runs and receive a refund under the published terms. Once a session has been run and the practitioner has spent the review time, the position changes; the cut-off is stated in the terms of use rather than decided case by case.

Withdrawing has no effect on anything else, and you are not asked to justify it.

What you need at your end

Very little, which is the point of remote delivery. There is no software to install and no device to set up for a standard session.

RequirementDetailIf you do not have it
An email addressWhere the report is delivered and where questions are answered.Sessions cannot be delivered without one.
A browserFor the account area, where past reports and your data controls live.Reports can be delivered by email alone on request.
A quiet hourFor the agreed session window. Nothing is asked of you beyond being settled.Reschedule; there is no charge for moving a window in advance.
A camera or scannerOnly where your service variant requires a photograph or sample documentation.Choose a variant that does not require one.
A video callOnly for packages that include a live review session.Written follow-up is available on every package.

If something goes wrong

If a report is late, if a section is missing, or if the commentary makes a claim it should not, raise it. A report that names a condition, asserts a pathogen, or recommends changing a medication is a fault in the service, not a feature of it.
